GABF is Underway

The Great American Beer Festival is now underway. Although I have my criticism of the way beers are judged, I love the idea of the GABF and recognize that the event itself is a wonderful thing.

Awards will be awarded tomorrow. Oregon breweries competing:

  2. Rogue has three breweries with different brewers as far as I know. Newport is their flagship brewery that makes most of their signature ales, while Eugene City Brewery (Tracktown) makes their own delicious award winning brands, as does in Issaquah, Washington who are making some solid Beligan brews. On a side note, what about doing a GABF pick 'em. Like fantasy sports games, people could guess who of the entries will win what. I think Elliott Bay's IIPA will win something.
