If you can't make a great small saison (aka "grisette"), you can at least make it look great. I bottled this a couple weeks ago and forgot the picture. It cheers me, so I'm sharing it--


  1. Looks good... but are you saying you didn't make a good saison? How did it turn out?

  2. That yeast is something else. It tastes more like a Bavarian hef right now than a saison. I'm hoping it evolves a bit.

  3. Clear swing tops????

    You plan on shoving these away in some dark place right?

    I finished my herbal saison a bit ago and have decided that it's deffinatly not something easy to brew. That yeast is finicky and flavors shift so dramaticly as it dries it's crazy.
